Welcome to Meadow View Elementary School

October 31 is a Full Day with school ending at 2:26pm. Students may wear costumes to school, however please no masks or weapons. Have a safe and fun Halloween.

Welcome to Meadow View School. Each member of our school staff looks forward to working with you to maximize your child’s educational experiences. This year, together, we will work to provide the students the best possible opportunities to prepare them to be world class citizens and leaders ready to master the challenges of the 21st Century with a solid foundation created here at our school. Together, we will support the academic, social, and emotional growth of your child.

Our staff recognizes the role they play in helping your children reach their full potential, and they do not take the responsibility lightly. We truly believe that all students can be successful, and this belief drives the work we do on a daily basis. Parent involvement too is vital to your children’s success, and we ask that you partner with us and play an active role in their education. Communication with your child’s teacher is essential to the success of your student. With your active involvement and participation, we will continue to ensure the opportunities for academic growth and leadership for your children. Parent assistance in classrooms and around campus comes in many fashions, so please talk to your child’s teacher or our wonderful Parent Teacher Association (PTA) volunteers, about how best to help.

Meadow View School is an environment for children to learn and grow, build friendships and successes, acquire the leadership skills and knowledge to reach their dreams. The focus in classrooms leads students to understand how our content relates to each other in both school and in life. Our lessons and units consider the different learning styles of students and make sense to all types of learners. In our classrooms, children are learning their subjects in ways that are enjoyable, meaningful, and interconnected. We are using our knowledge to connect to our real world and problems that need to be solved or studied.

Teachers infuse a love of reading and writing in this work and children develop their speaking skills when presenting their knowledge or findings.

I am honored to work in such an outstanding school community where this type of learning is taking place and eagerly anticipate a rewarding and successful year for all.

I am proud to be a Mountain Lion!
